People in Black
stand in silent vigil to protest war, rape, and human rights abuses.. We are silent because mere words cannot express the tragedy that wars and hatred bring. ... War, ecological holocaust, and policies that disregard life in any form are unacceptable to us.
We stand in silence to envision a future free of human brutality and greed as a means to control people and nature.
